La monarca m\u00e1s longeva del pa\u00eds, que ascendi\u00f3 al trono en 1952, ha reinado durante 70 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-gtm-element-container=\"modulo-texto-link\">El siguiente en la l\u00ednea de sucesi\u00f3n es el pr\u00edncipe Carlos, hijo mayor de la reina. Carlos se ha convertido en la persona de mayor edad en convertirse en rey de un pa\u00eds: el poseedor del r\u00e9cord fue Guillermo IV, que ten\u00eda 64 a\u00f1os cuando ascendi\u00f3 al trono de Reino Unido en 1830.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-gtm-element-container=\"modulo-texto-link\">Un d\u00eda despu\u00e9s del fallecimiento de su madre, Carlos III (que es el t\u00edtulo que ha elegido para esta nueva etapa) se convirti\u00f3 en monarca. Su proclamaci\u00f3n tuvo lugar el s\u00e1bado en una ceremonia en el Palacio de St. James.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-gtm-element-container=\"modulo-texto-link\">Tras la proclamaci\u00f3n, el rey comienza este lunes una gira por las cuatro naciones (Escocia, Irlanda del Norte, Gales e Inglaterra), con el objetivo de recorrer el pa\u00eds y entrar en contacto con los ciudadanos. El tour del monarca comenzar\u00e1 desde Londres hasta Edimburgo, Escocia, y estar\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ado igualmente por la reina consorte.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-gtm-element-container=\"modulo-texto-link\">Uno de los eventos m\u00e1s esperados es la coronaci\u00f3n, momento en que el nuevo monarca ser\u00e1 coronado en la abad\u00eda de Westminster en Londres; posteriormente, se producir\u00eda la tradicional escena del balc\u00f3n en el palacio de Buckingham. De momento habr\u00e1 que esperar para que se produzca este acontecimiento. Por ejemplo, Isabel II no fue coronada hasta 14 meses despu\u00e9s de su proclamaci\u00f3n como reina.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"subtitle\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00bfQui\u00e9n es Carlos III?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-gtm-element-container=\"modulo-texto-link\">Carlos Felipe Arturo Jorge naci\u00f3 en Londres el 14 de noviembre de 1948, un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s que Isabel II y el\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavanguardia.com\/vida\/junior-report\/20210416\/6861895\/funeral-duque-edimburgo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-gtm-element=\"container-child-link\">pr\u00edncipe Felipe, duque de Edimburgo<\/a>, contrajeran matrimonio. En 1952, su madre ascendi\u00f3 al trono brit\u00e1nico como la reina Isabel II cuando \u00e9l solo ten\u00eda tres a\u00f1os de edad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-gtm-element-container=\"modulo-texto-link\">En 1958, siendo muy peque\u00f1o, fue nombrado pr\u00edncipe de Gales y conde de Chester.
